| New Products Pittsburgh Corning Completes IceScapes® Pattern Product Line
with New, Larger Glass Block
|
PITTSBURGH, PA – Architects and builders agree that glass block adds beauty and value to residential and commercial construction. To provide more design and aesthetic options, Pittsburgh Corning is adding to its Premiere Series IceScapes® pattern family with the introduction of new 12-inch by 12-inch by 4-inch glass blocks. With a non-directional pattern, the 12-inch block creates a different visual impact and allows designers to coordinate glass block walls, partitions and window applications with other materials of similar scale and grid pattern.
The IceScapes® pattern provides a high degree of privacy while maintaining maximum light transmission. Similar to other Pittsburgh Corning glass block, the
12-inch by 12-inch by 4-inch IceScapes® pattern glass block provides the benefits of security, noise control, durability and low maintenance.
To add increased flexibility and design possibilities where smaller blocks are needed, blocks measuring 8-inch by 8-inch by
4-inch, 4-inch by 8-inch by
4-inch and 6-inch by 8-inch by
4-inch are also available in the IceScapes® pattern. A rounded edge can also be added to panels, wall or dividers with 8-inch finishing blocks used vertically or horizontally.
